The Episcopal Diocese of Lexington

St. Agnes' House is a ministry of hospitality providing a residence for people who must be in Lexington for treatment of disease. In extending our welcome, the Diocese of Lexington encounters and serves Jesus by attending the physical, emotional and spiritual pain of each guest who enters this sanctuary of hospitality.

St. Agnes' House is a non-profit, ecumenical mission established in 1975 through collaboration among the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington, the Society of St. Margaret and the University of Kentucky. Our mission is to provide a safe, home-like environment for people who must be in Lexington for medical care at local hospitals. We provide low-cost housing primarily for patients from rural Kentucky who are receiving therapies for cancer and other chronic medical conditions.

Please contact us if you need a place to stay during treatment for severe illness while in Lexington, or if you would like to support our ministry of hospitality.
